Eastlake’s Jessica Sanchez Aims for American Idol Finale with Community’s Support
Weekly support growing for Idol’s hometown favorite as “View & Vote” party returns to EastLake Tavern & Bowl
With a spot in the finale in sight, San Diego’s Jessica Sanchez puts her powerhouse voice, impressive stage presence and smart song selection on display once more on Wednesday’s American Idol. Family, friends and the community will gather in large numbers to cheer her performance at Chula Vista’s EastLake Tavern & Bowl.
Only four contestants remain in the popular singing competition and San Diego’s Jessica Sanchez has shown she has the talent, confidence and drive to be this year’s winner. The EastLake resident has received tremendous support not only from her family, friends and neighbors in the South Bay community of EastLake, but throughout San Diego County and that support is growing.
This week’s American Idol “View & Vote” event will be held at the EastLake Tavern & Bowl in the Eastlake Design District in Chula Vista. In addition, the EastLake Middle School Choir – the local school Sanchez attended as a youth – the Eastlake High Jazz Band and Show Choir will perform starting at 5:30 p.m. The family-friendly event is open to all ages.
