City of Chula Vista C.E.R.T. is looking for new members

The Chula Vista Fire Department is looking for City Employees, or residents of Chula Vista 21 years or older who have an interest in learning how to be a Disaster Service Worker.
This is a great opportunity to learn how to be personally prepared for all disasters and to work with people with the same interest! Depending on your training: CERTs can range from just helping themself to going anywhere in the Country they may be needed.
If you can attend all 24 hours of the basic CERT Academy, this may be the opportunity when you finally learn to be prepared to help yourself and others.
The next CV CERT Academy days and hours are as follows:
Mon. Nov 01, 5 – 9 PM
Wed. Nov 03, 5 – 9 PM
Sat. Nov 06, 8 – 5 PM
Sat. Nov 13, 8 – 5 PM
