Centennial Photo Contest
In celebration of the City of Chula Vista’s 100th anniversary in 2011, the Chula Vista Heritage Museum is sponsoring a centennial photo contest. The contest is intended to capture unique images of the community and the essence of life in Chula Vista. Entries will be showcased and added to the Chula Vista Library’s “Historic Photos” link on the library’s website.

Entry forms and contest rules may be downloaded from the library’s website at
www.chulavistalibrary.com.
Winners will be awarded the following cash prizes:
Grand Prize $150,
First Place $125,
Second Place $75,

The Chula Vista Heritage Museum’s Centennial Photo Contest is funded in part by a Community Enhancement Grant from the County of San Diego.

This sounds like fun. I am re-learning photography right now and this is a perfect opportunity to travel around CV looking for great photo ops. Here is a link for those who may be fuzzy on what the city limits are: http://www.zipmap.net/California/San_Diego_County/Chula_Vista.htm
Happy Holidays.
