All Aboard the Library Express

Look out for the Library Express – the latest addition to the Chula Vista Public Library! South Bay Volkswagen has donated a colorful van to the Library for its efforts to reach residents outside the library walls. The van, with seating for seven, includes two TV screens,
multiple connections for electronic gadgetry, fold away seating, as well as rear seats that can be reconfigured for tailgating.

“The Library Express will enable the library to provide programs without a building and to participate more actively at community events. We are delighted that South Bay Volkswagen continues to support us by providing these wonderful, eye catching and unique vehicles,” said Library Director Betty Waznis.

This is not the first vehicle that South Bay Volkswagen has provided to the library – the popular Book Bug is also provided by them. The Book Bug is always a popular attraction at community events with its multi-colored insect themed décor. Both vehicles will participate in the upcoming annual Starlight Parade on Third Avenue, to be held on December 4 at 6 p.m
