Southwestern College Gets Two New Vice Presidents
Southwestern College’s governing board unanimously approved two new hires at its board meeting May 23 to fill vacancies in Superintendent/President Melinda Nish’s cabinet.
Kathy Tyner was named vice president for academic affairs and Steven L. Crow was named vice president for business and financial affairs.
Tyner, a 22-year veteran of Southwestern College, had been serving as the interim vice president since October.
Crow joins Southwestern from the College of the Siskiyous where he is vice president for administrative and information services, overseeing business functions as well as supervising the directors of business, technology services, facilities, the book store, residence halls and food services. He brings with him experience in overseeing voter-approved bond measures and online learning.
