Bonita Valley Softball Team Crowned Champions

Over the weekend of June 15-17th, 9 Bonita Valley Girls softball team ventured to Poway to take on some of the county’s best girls All Star teams.

After all was said and done, 4 teams brought home trophies. The 8 Gold team won the championship with a 4-0 victory over Rancho Penasquitos, the 10 Gold team came back from a 5-0 deficit in the bottom of the 7th inning to beat North Shore 14-5, and in the 12 Silver division, Bonita Valley had a clean sweep of the awards as the BV 12 Silver team beat the 12 Bronze team 12-4.

Another great weekend for the Bonita Valley All-Stars. This week, the Gold teams will attempt to win District crowns and qualify for the State tournament at the District championships in Santee.
