ELL Majors Red Sox, Angels Advance

With Eastlake Little League’s post season playoffs underway, the Eastlake’s Major’s top ranked team, the Red Sox, advanced to the quarterfinals with a win over the Padres yesterday.

The team, led by Coach Bob Daily, finished the season with an 11-4 record. The Majors Red Sox will face the Dodgers, coached by Christian Slike. The Dodgers finished the regular season with a 7-7-1 record.

The second top team in Eastlake’s Majors Division, the Angels, coached by Jerry Lewis, beat the Yankees and will face the Blue Jays this Thursday at 5:00 PM.

All games are double elimination.

Congratulations to all teams and good luck to the remaining teams.
