US Olympic Women’s Field Hockey Falls 3 to 1 to Argentina

The USA Field Hockey Women’s National Team fell 3-1 to Argentina on November 5th in the second game of a five-game test series at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA. The USA controlled many aspects of the game, held the ball well and attacked, but allowed three Argentina penalty corner goals to put Las Leonas ahead.
“Our possession and structure was much improved from yesterday,” said Technical Director of High Performance Terry Walsh. “In the end, our inability to create solid opportunities was the difference.”
