New BMX Hall of Fame in Chula Vista

The BMX Hall of Fame was founded in 1985 in Arizona.  It will be moving to the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista for a grand opening at 10 a.m. on Sept. 18.

The induction ceremony will be held the night before, at the Hall of Champions in Balboa Park.

The training facility is a replica of the 2008 Olympic BMX SX track. There will be a professional race Sept. 18-20, and after that the public will be permitted to race the track on Saturdays.
