In a remarkable, historic finish, the 2009 Eastlake Titans defeated Vista in a thrilling CIF championship victory.
Coach John McFadden earned CIF coach of the year with an 11-0-2 record and the first CIF football title for a South Bay School since 1996.
Tony Jefferson and Matt Cellery earned Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively.
