Chula Vista Fire and Police to host 9/11 ceremony this Saturday at Fire Station #7

Independence Day in Eastlake

On Saturday September 11, 2010, the City of Chula Vista Fire and Police Departments will be honoring the victims of 9/11 with a brief ceremony.

The ceremony will take place at Fire Station # 7 and begin at 9:40 am with the ceremonial ringing of the bell at 0959 (time the first  tower fell). The Chula Vista Fire and Police Color Guards will be on site to present our nation’s colors and assist with the bell ringing.

The public is welcome to attend and tours of the fire engines and station will be available afterwards.

Fire Station 7 is located at 1640 Santa Venetia at the corner of La Media Road and Santa Venetia just behind Otay Ranch High School.
