What is The Christmas Conspiracy?
Quite simply, it is Eastlake Church’s annual offering to provide support to various initiatives in the community and the world.
Last year’s offering allowed the church to do incredible things to serve people in need and this year’s offering will hopefully do even more to extend love, support, and assistance to initiatives that seek to care for the broken and give hope to the lost.
The Chula Vista Public Library has an annual book budget of just $75,000 – down from more than $525,000 a few years ago. That means fewer bestsellers on the Hot Picks shelf, fewer picture books in the children’s room, fewer magazines in the reading room, and fewer choices in the exciting world of digital books.

The 4.6 percent decrease in the index of pending home sales, the biggest since April, followed a 1.2 percent drop the previous month, the National Association of Realtors said today in Washington. Economists forecast a 0.4 percent gain, according to the median of 38 estimates in a Bloomberg News survey.
The inaugural Chula Vista Challenge Olympic Distance Triathlon presented by Pulse Endurance Sports will be held on October 16, 2011.
