The ground attack was led by the formidable RB tandem of Roman Coe and Clarence Freeman IV.

The Panthers kept their offense on the field by controlling the clock with a dominant running game.  A touchdown reception from the combination of QB DiMaggio Cazares to WR Darius Advento put the game out of reach before halftime.

Led by defensive Linebacker Jonathan Alvarez, the undefeated Eastlake Panthers had a great defensive game plan to limit the effectiveness of the Otay Ranch offense.

The Eastlake Panthers finish the season at: 12-0.

The Otay Ranch Broncos fall to 10-2 on the season.

Congratulations to both teams for such a succesful season.

  1. Awesome job Panthers! You deserve it guys….

  2. I’m still numb. Thank you Broncos you are truly a team with class. Our Hearts and prayers go out to #2 Ellis “Boogie”.

  3. im very thankful

  4. Yea He is okay now. I was by his side at the hospital, that happening to him has just fueled this rivalry that much more, just be prepared Eastlake cause you played a team without my boy in the second half and to be real about it..HE IS THE TEAM..Yea I said it..And I mean it. 30 TD’s this season. There is no denying him. And I know you won’t admit it but in the back of your minds you were happy to see him leave that field. This isn’t over Eastlake..We’ll see you next season..

  5. @MrMcKnight, I am glad and I speak for the team, it’s good to know he is doing much better. Your are right “He is the team”, in fact I speak highly about him to my colleagues, that such a young man like that can possess all that talent. I often refer to him as “Michael Vick” (not the dog incident of course). Let’s face it, even in the NFL there are certain stand outs that we would wish they will not show up to face us, but NEVER EVER wish any bodily harm in any way shape or form upon these kids, kids like mine and yours. That would be uncivil. After both games I was speaking to your coach giving him all the props they deserve, especially about #2. And Speaking about fueling the rivalry, now that’s what I’m talking about..just like the Chargers and the Raiders or Cowboys and Redskins. I love to see young talent better themselves in the Off Season in preparation for Fall, that’s what I call a real man’s sport, Football, rain or shine. I can see #2 getting a free ride through college if he keeps it up. Anyways, a HUGE UPS to the Otay Coaching staff and their supporting parents you guys make Youth Football worth playing. Tell #2 to stay focused and have a good Holiday Season.

  6. The Eastlake parents, coaches and kids were and always have been a class act. Don’t ever change. Nothing was done intentional. You beat MY Broncos fairly TWICE this year. Boogie played 7 of 8 quarters. Most of us parents from Otay will agree.

    19-15 in week 8
    22-6 in the finals

This is what makes it fun.

We have a rivalry that builds year after year. Good Job.

    Get well soon, Boogie!

  7. Nothing malicious. It was a part of the game that nobody likes to see. Trust me when I say our kids, coaches and parents were just as concerned as #2 Ellis and his family.

  8. @ Mr Hernandez well said u are a class act n your son is a hell of a player#5

  9. @ Mr Hernandez well said u are a class act n your son is a hell of a player#5

  10. I would like to say football is a team sport, the ultimate team sport. The Broncos have a great group of kids that never gave up, never lost their cool and believed in TEAM. No One player makes a TEAM. Great job Broncos you are a great TEAM.
