Black Friday Comes Early This Year
Target, Best Buy and Kohl’s are among retailers opening their doors at midnight Thursday to give shoppers a jump on the Black Friday experience.
Black Friday deals — so-called doorbusters — this year include a 40-inch HDTV for $265 at Target, a 15.6-inch $299.99 Samsung laptop, down from $999.99 at Best Buy. (The laptop runs an Intel Pentium processor, has 4GB of memory, and a 320GB hard drive); Selected Bulova watches for men and women for $99 at Kohl’s.
Walmart will begin setting out holiday sales at 10 p.m. Thursday, with electronics doorbusters starting at midnight. A few retailers will have even longer hours on Thursday, including Kmart.
