USA Cycling Trials at CV OTC on June 16th

Reigning Olympic silver medalist Mike Day and bronze medalist Donny Robinson are among eight BMX riders who will compete for the automatic berth to the U.S. team headed to the London Games.

USA Cycling announced the field for its BMX trials this week. The other riders are Connor Fields, Nic Long, Barry Nobles, Corben Sharrah, Joey Bradford and Josh Meyers.

The trials are June 16 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif.

The winner will join David Herman and a discretionary choice to make up the three-man team. Herman secured an automatic nomination as the overall leader of the USA Cycling power rankings.

Arielle Martin has qualified on the women’s side by leading the power rankings. She’ll be joined by a discretionary pick on the two-woman team.
