San Diego Police arrest suspect in a La Jolla robbery who is also the suspect in a Chula Vista robbery.
Community of Eastlake, Police Blotter Friday, October 22nd, 2010Chula Vista police were searching for a woman suspected of robbing the Coach store at Otay Town Center on Saturday, October 17th.
According to witnesses the woman entered the store around 2:30 p.m. and appeared to be shopping.
Employees say the woman showed a weapon and ordered all four workers into the back. She then asked one worker to open the safe. She then ordered the 4 workers on to the ground where she zip-tied their wrists.
She then took the money and went through the store placing store owned purses into a large bag.
Two days later the San Diego Police Department arrested a suspect using the same method and dressed similarly in a La Jolla nail salon robbery.
In that case the suspect fled the salon on foot, but she was chased by a salon employee who tackled her and held her for police.
