Record heat to persist, forecasters say
A record-breaking heat wave baking San Diego County with triple-digit temperatures is expected to continue at least through tomorrow, threatening to make it difficult for firefighters to gain the upper hand on blazes burning on Camp Pendleton and throughout Southern California.
