Park View Little League ‘Blue Bombers’ Celebrate at Southwestern College
Park View Little League Celebrates LL World Seris at Southwestern College
The Park View All-Stars, dubbed the Blue Bombers for their explosive offense, won the Little League World Series Sunday, defeating Taiwan 6-3.
The welcome home rally will provide fans an opportunity to congratulate Chula Vista’s hometown heroes. Mayor Cox, city leaders and local dignitaries will honor the team in a brief ceremony.
Gates at Devore Stadium will open to the public at 4 p.m. and parking is available at the stadium. A new site was selected to ensure the safety of all attending and one that would be large enough to accommodate them.
The City of Chula Vista will welcome home the World Champion Park View Little League team with a homecoming celebration at 6 p.m. Friday, September 4 at Southwestern Colleges Devore Stadium, 900 Otay Lakes Road.
