Eastlake Woods Hillside Gets Drought Tolerant Facelift
About 40 volunteers have helped turn an Eastlake Woods hillside into a native, drought-tolerant garden in an effort to promote healthy landscapes, wildlife and water conservation, drought tolerance and Environment Gardens Water conservation.
The 1.4-acre site is near the Clubhouse at the Woods in Eastlake.
The habitat garden will serve as a model for residents to understand how healthy landscape choices can apply in their own yards.
