Dr. Dino has been great the times I have brought my child to see him. His back office staff has also been great with my child during his visits to Dr. Dino.

However, the front office staff, in particular a lady by the name of Oralia, has not been pleasant to deal with. In particular this past 11/11/13 when my child’s appointment was canceled due to Dr. Dino’s sick call. I was not given a soon enough rescheduled appointment to bring my child for a cleaning and cavity problem. I waited a whole month for this appointment and was canceled out the same morning about 15 minutes before the time of the appointment, as I was pulling to the drive way. Hazel delivered the news over the my cell phone and seemed a bit more understanding when I expressed my disappointment. I waited one month for this appointment and had to schedule time off from work. I understand Dr. Dino’s situation. But I expected to have an appointment added during the same week, since customer satisfaction should play a role in their daily operations.

I did not feel my child had to wait any longer for his appointment. When I spoke to Oralia, she was less than kind, not concern about my request as she kept telling me this rehearsed speech over and over with out trying to accommodate my child to an earlier appointment time and date. I requested to have Dr. Dino aware of my request and see if he could assist me better on this matter. I was more frustrated after I got off the phone with this person. The front desk personnel is vital to any organization/business. It can make people like me not want to go back to see a wonderful Dentist. And in fact, I since than switched to another dentist, not a pediatric dentist but much more pleasant staff. This new staff really makes you feel like your needs are important to them. My child had his first appointment with them on 11/12/13, they found out four cavities and today 11/14/13 is his second appointment to start filling his cavities. I hope Dr. Dino takes in consideration the way his staff treats his customers will make or break his practice. My child’s appointment was on 11/11/13 at 8:30am if you would like to know who wrote this comment.
